Gee, I never thought I would use “that” fabric

This is a small piece of an improv quilt that I am working on while I get to know how to use my new sewing machine.

This awful, (yes indeed), awful bright coral is from an ancient UFQ.

But wait! There’s more odd fabric going into this quilt!
