Yay, I finally have this Improv quilt top stitched together. I plan to add some embellishment to it.

This is a small piece of an improv quilt that I am working on while I get to know how to use my new sewing machine.

This awful, (yes indeed), awful bright coral is from an ancient UFQ.

But wait! There’s more odd fabric going into this quilt!

Working With Big Pieces

I have a new machine and needed some practice getting the thread tension worked out before trying to baste the circle quilt. So, “ta -da”. I kind of like this unplanned design so I think I will keep working.
